…lost...

Have you ever felt lost? No, not literally lost…. trust me, I know what that feels like. The type of lost were well you're not really sure whats going on in your life. Well, I think thats where I am right now. I'm lost. I don't really know how to explain it.  Its like crossing the street with a blindfold on or driving through an endless tunnel (oh lord, that doesn't sound like fun) but then at the same time its not.

             I think what it is, and this is just my thinking, is I feel like I'm lacking direction. I know that may not make sense but to me it does.  I guess I've been questioning my character lately, Is this who I want to be? Where am I going to be in ten years because of my actions today? Am I going to like it and am I going to like me? How can I make my life and others lives better now? What about ten years from now?………. So maybe I've just been acting like a three year old and just questioning…. but I              think my questions are pretty valid!

           Now to solve the problem…. HA! Thats easier said then done…. What I've decide to do (and oh do I hope it helps) is to work on my grace (I'm beginning to think that's another thing I lack). I'm going to be that person who values others over herself ALL OF THE TIME (because lets be honest, we all know only one or two people who do). I'm going to love others and show them with my actions. I'm going to try to kill people with kindness. I'm going to try to get my life together. I'm going to make time for others but also make time for me, because Gandhi once said "There is more to life then increasing its speed." So I'm going to relax, relaxation can only mean a happier Paige right? I'm also going to take time out of everyday to reflect on my day and my actions. How did you handle your day? Was it with grace?

I'm also going to try to blog more…. I know, I know, its about time… yeah yeah yeah. You try being me.

100+ degrees…. lord help me...

Hey y'all…. Sorry its been awhile since I've blogged, apparently my schedule doesn't approve of it.  Well lets see…. I guess I helped saved someones life. Not anything special or noteworthy. I've worked about eight days in row with over 100+ degree weather. So naturally, I'm incredibly burnt out and brown. I started house sitting too. I'm watching a dog and two cats but heres the kicker… I think I'm allergic to cats. It hasn't been the best week for me and these cats. Then this dog sometimes likes to leave me treats…. :() NOT HAPPY!!!  Theres also a little raccoon who came to visit me tonight…. Scary!!!! I guess thats about it. My life hasn't really been noteworthy the past few weeks. Tomorrow, I have the day off… Holla!!! I'm going to the Sporting KC game with my friend from school! I hope we win!!!!! :) Au Revoir!

Its almost July… what?

So today I realized while yes its only the 12th of June, its almost July. WHAT!? Clearly, I have dropped off the face of the earth yet again. I have almost two weeks until I run my 5K and while yes I can practically run it now, I feel as if I'm not ready. TWO WEEKS PEOPLE, TWO WEEKS! Work will make it go by fast because by the end of the day I feel like this…   seriously….


But anyway I have a super rad but not really burn on my shoulder. I was really stupid and put lotion on raw skin after a bad sun burn. Oops... never doing that again. Its taken me two weeks to get it to this point and its not even 100% yet. But the good news is that it doesn't hurt. HOLLA


Also I just realized I get to move into the Chi Omega house in less then two weeks…. Holla. This is how I feel about it.. also this is how I will look the first week!!!! DID I MENTION I'M EXCITED!

Enjoying my last bits of summer…

Hello world. Hows it going? Good I hope. Well, I'm settling in for the summer, getting comfortable. Of course when I get comfortable, work starts again. Its that time of year again when the pools open again…. Yay. Its not horrible but I like to say I become a slave of the City of Olathe. I don't have a social life because I work at least everyday. Monday through Thursdays I do swim lessons! Its so much fun and the kids are so cute. Then Monday through Sunday, I work as a lifeguard for the City. I usually get two days off a week. So I can either work three, 8 ish, or 12 ish hours a day, and thats if I don't have a pool party afterwards. Sometimes if I'm really lucky I'll get a weekend off. I can only wish. Its going to be a long summer…. but if I keep thinking about the paycheck in the end, maybe just maybe I'll make it through the summer.

Things that make me happy…. Summer!

Ello world!!!! Sorry its been so long, dead week and finals week got the best of me. I also had to attack the pile of junk that was my dorm room and unpack/pack it back up for the basement. Woahhhhh, what a fun welcome home present… NOT! But anywho I'm back home! Its nice to finally be sleeping in my own bed that I don't have to climb into, that isn't an extra long twin. Its super nice to not have to wear scandals in the shower as well as not getting attacked by the shower curtains and giant hair balls!!!! LIFE IS GREAT!!!! The only thing I miss (surprisingly) is the GFL oatmeal. I just can't make my oatmeal quite as well as I did in Nebraska.  Well I guess I should say I also GREATLY miss my friends!!!! What am I going to do without Tessa and Sarah!!! Its only been a week and I'm already dying! AS WELL AS EVERYBODY ELSE…. THIS SUMMER IS GOING TO BE LONG!!!!

But I have made some new friends…. the cute shoes and dresses I just got! I can tell I'm going to have some issues with my wallet this summer…. oops… Sorry not sorry. This chick be looking hot!

Hell/Dead week… or weeks really

Howdy y'all.  So I'm sorry I haven't been updating everyone on my life lately but I've just been super busy! Next week is hell/dead week in college….. woahhhhh!!! Not excited. I don't think I'll have a lot to do, I'm just really stressed with things coming to an end. I feel like there are a billion and one other things I need do not school related and I don't have time! I wish I could just freeze time, get it all done, then go about my day. That  would make life so much better. But obviously that doesn't happen :( So I'm going to go back to studying, doing French, etc. Ill see you all in about two weeks. Keep it classy and live life for me.

Happy Easter!!!

Hello!! Hope everyone had a GREAT EASTER, I know I did! I got to spend the lovely weekend with my favorite family and one of my best friends! Friday night, after I most likely failed my biology test (oops!) we went to the baseball game. It was freezing outside and we lost, boo! We went over to grannys house after that for the night. Sarah loves my granny, but who wouldn't! Saturday, we went up to my aunt and uncles house. We watched Warhorse. Don't ever watch it if you have pets. YOU WILL CRY!!! I don't think I can ever see a horse again. Then after that we had a glow in the dark easter egg hunt!!!! It was sooooooo epic!!! Sarah kicked ass and won EVERY game. Not that I'm bitter or anything. Sunday, we got up at the crack of dawn and went to South Dakota! We had lots of fun with the 30+ people we were with!

After a long week, I'm surely glad to be back in Lincoln and not to have a horribly busy week. No test this week, AHHHH YEAH!!!!!
